1. Service Scope

Holiday Light Installation includes labor for setup, lighting placement, clips, cords, and safe ladder/roof access. Takedown, gutter cleaning, tree wrapping, ridge-line lighting, and other items are considered separate services unless specifically listed in your booking.

2. Pricing & Estimates

All pricing is based on the final on-site measurement and service needs, including roof height, pitch, tree size, footage, and difficulty of access.
• Labor is billed at the published hourly rates.
• Materials are billed per unit or per foot.
• Trip charges are set by neighborhood participation level.
• Takedown is billed at 65% of the installation cost.
• Gutter cleaning is billed at $2 per foot unless only the free front gutter cleaning applies.

All prices listed are subject to adjustment if the scope changes, conditions change, or additional labor/materials are required.

3. Free Front Gutter Cleaning Offer

The free front gutter cleaning applies only when the customer purchases both the Installation AND the Takedown Package.*(must have gutter or roof lights to get free cleaning)
Any additional gutter sections beyond the front line will be billed at $2 per foot.

4. Referral Credit Terms

Referral credits are issued as follows:
• $25 credit per neighbor who completes a booking.
• No limit to the number of credits earned.
• Credits apply to your current or next invoice and cannot be redeemed for cash.
• Referrals must occur within the same season to qualify.

5. Neighborhood Discount Terms

Neighborhood discounts reduce the trip charge only, not the labor or material costs.
Rates are based on the number of confirmed neighboring homes booked on the same street or within direct proximity. If neighbors cancel after booking, your trip charge may be updated to the correct tier.

6. Customer-Supplied Lights

If customer-provided lights fail, do not work, or are unsafe, replacements will be supplied and billed at material rates.
Reinstallation due to faulty customer lights will be billed as additional labor.

7. Weather, Safety & Access

Service dates may shift due to weather, roof temperature, wind, or unsafe surfaces. The contractor reserves the right to delay or reschedule installation or takedown if conditions are unsafe.
Customer must provide clear access to work areas and remove obstacles such as vehicles, debris, or ice when requested.

8. Roof & Property Conditions

Reale Construction Rx is not responsible for:
• Pre-existing roof, gutter, fascia, siding, or electrical issues.
• Loose shingles, brittle gutters, failing wood, or aging materials that may be affected during normal ladder/roof work.
• Damage caused by old clips, old lights, or customer-provided equipment.

All care is taken to protect your home, but older structures carry inherent risk the customer accepts.

9. Electrical Requirements

Customer is responsible for providing functional exterior outlets and adequate power supply.
Tripping breakers or insufficient electrical load capacity are not installation defects.

10. Takedown Contingency Terms

End-of-season removal is not included unless the customer purchases the Takedown Package at the time of installation. The following conditions apply:

• Standard Takedown Package
      • Takedown service is billed at 65% of the installation cost.
      • Includes full removal of all lights, clips, cords, materials, bundling,      and safe roof/ladder work.
      • Includes FREE front gutter cleaning if booked with the      installation.

• Takedown Requested Without      Purchasing the Package (Removal-Only Service)
      If a customer chooses to have lights removed after the holiday season     but did not purchase the Takedown Package at the time of      installation, removal will be billed as follows:
      • Full Labor Rates Apply (no discount):
      – Ground Work: $95/hr per man
      – Ladder Work: $135/hr per man
      – Roof Work: $175/hr per man
      – Expert Roof Work: $225/hr per man
      • A one-time Removal Trip Charge of $100 applies.
      • If customer-supplied lights, clips, or cords are tangled, frozen,      brittle, unsafe, or damaged, additional labor may be required.
      • No free gutter cleaning is included with Removal-Only service.

• Customer Delayed Removal or      Abandonment
      If the customer fails to schedule takedown or refuses the offered takedown      dates, Reale Construction Rx is not responsible for:
      • Seasonal damage to lights caused by weather, snow, ice, wind, animals,      or roof conditions
      • Electrical damage or water intrusion
      • Any resulting property concerns from prolonged installation
      The customer assumes all responsibility for leaving lights installed      beyond the recommended removal period.

• Removal Scheduling Window
      • Standard takedown occurs in January.
      • Weather or safety conditions may shift the takedown date.
      • If a customer requires an earlier or later removal date, labor rates and      trip charges apply.

• Customer-Supplied Lights
      • Removal of customer-owned lights is billed at full labor rates      regardless of package.
      • Reinstallation or repackaging of defective, excessively tangled, or      unsafe customer lights may incur additional charges.

11. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled appointmentmay be subject to a $75 cancellation fee.
If the crew arrives and cannot work due to access issues, unsafe conditions, or customer inaction, a trip charge will still apply.

12. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Referral credits, neighborhood discounts, or promotional offers will be applied after final invoicing.
Late payments may incur administrative fees.

13. Liability & Insurance

Reale Construction Rx is fully insured. Liability is limited to the cost of services rendered.
The company is not responsible for seasonal weather damage, animals chewing wires, falling branches, or electrical surges affecting lighting or equipment.

14. Acceptance of Terms

By booking this service, the customer agrees to all terms, conditions, pricing policies, and safety requirements listed above as well as contract sent once formulized per each specific project.
