Notes
Sometimes wellness isn’t about adding square footage. It’s about subtracting stress.
📍 What You’re Looking At:
This project began on a gravel pad and ended in a personal retreat. You’re seeing a fully assembled cedar SaunaLife barrel sauna, built from a precision-fit kit with zero margin for error. The framing and surface work was done with an eye toward longevity, sealing, and wellness-enhancing flow.
Project Highlights:
- Platform built on crushed stone base, leveled and designed for drainage
- Cedar staves assembled with interlocking integrity, compression bands installed with exact spacing
- Shingle roof installed over curved top to shed water and protect interior
- Fully sealed, vented, and ready to provide daily health support through thermal therapy
✅ Do:
✔️ Keep the base clear of weeds and shifting gravel to ensure frame stability
✔️ Let cedar breathe — don’t seal it fully; let it age naturally unless otherwise recommended
❌ Don’t:
❌ Don’t skip the learning curve — these kits aren’t IKEA. Assembly takes real skill.
❌ Don’t underestimate what thermal retreat can do — sweat is one of your body’s most powerful detox tools
🧠 A well-built sauna is more than a luxury — it’s a prescription for physical resilience and mental clarity. Maintain it like you would any health practice.
