📍 Spa Vision Realized — A Warm, Botanical Retreat
This project was all about transformation — not just changing fixtures, but reimagining how the space breathes and functions.

🔨 What You’re Looking At:
This once-segmented bedroom-bathroom combo has become a seamless, serene retreat. A plant-loving window floods the bathroom with natural light and warmth. We reframed a new wall to properly divide the spaces, yet allow them to feel connected.

✅ Highlights:

-Custom plant window brings life to the bathroom and the soaking experience 🌱
-Bamboo floors unify the space and bring a spa-like tranquility
-Pocket door maximizes flow without crowding
-Framed and blended wall adjustments create a calm, intentional layout
-Venting was doubled for better moisture control and air quality
-Brickwork and the custom double facing wood fireplace add character and continuity

⚠️ Don’t let the elegance fool you — this was a complex job requiring framing, venting, plumbing, drywall finesse, and thoughtful design vision.

🧠 Spaces like this don’t just “look better” — they feel better. They move better. And they support daily rhythms instead of fighting them. This client now has a bathroom that’s not just part of their home — it’s a part of their healing.

🩺Patient: A disjointed and outdated bathroom-bedroom layout, with inefficient use of space, insufficient ventilation, and dated finishes Referred by: Homeowners seeking a serene, plant-filled, spa-like space that feels open, warm, and intentional 🤕 Symptoms: -Cramped bathroom layout and poor light flow between spaces -Outdated fixtures, including the tub and flooring -Insufficient venting for moisture control -Mismatched transitions between bedroom and bathroom flooring -Framing, paint, and finish inconsistencies from past patchwork 🛠️ Treatment Plan: -Removed the existing small window, reframed and installed a new custom -garden-style window 🌿 for natural light and plants -Demolished approx. 8’ of the exterior wall and insulated the new framing -Removed the dividing wall between bathroom and bedroom; built a new framed wall for layout flow and privacy -Sheetrocked and taped all modified wall surfaces, including repair and repaint of ceiling in blended finish -Demo’d both bathroom and adjacent bedroom floor; re-leveled and unified the subfloor before installing new bamboo flooring throughout -Removed and reinstalled toilet with updated supply lines and a fresh wax ring -Removed and reinstalled existing sink after floor installation -Removed old tub and installed a new deep, clawfoot tub with ceiling-mounted shower arm 🛁 -Installed a pocket door between the bathroom and bedroom to optimize space -Framed in old bathroom door and seamlessly blended the opening with sheetrock, tape, and paint -Installed double facing wood fireplace set in brick wall -Installed vent system for wood fireplace for adequate airflow 💨 💡 Prognosis: The space now flows like a true spa sanctuary — natural light, elevated function, clean transitions, and just the right amount of softness. There’s a peaceful rhythm here — from the calming wood grain of the floor to the plant-touched sunlight pouring in above the tub. And every detail, from insulation to layout, works to support both the air and energy of the room.
