🩺Patient: Outdated bathroom with failing finishes and tired design elements
Referred by: Homeowner inspired to bring her vision of a cleaner, brighter, more functional bathroom to life

🤕 Symptoms:

-Cracked and stained tile throughout, both floor and walls
-Worn vanity and outdated mirror cabinet not matching client’s desired style
-Peeling paint and patchy finishes around tub surround and walls
-Inefficient lighting and poor ventilation
-Layout felt tight and dim, with clunky trim and misplaced details

🩺 Diagnosis:
This bathroom was structurally sound but cosmetically fatigued and disconnected from the clients ideal design — clean whites, classic tilework, fresh details, and better flow. The floor tile was cracked and dated, wall tiles clashed, and ventilation was lacking. The entire space needed an overhaul to reflect not just style, but comfort and function.

The client came with a vision — and we brought it to life by stripping the space down and rebuilding it with purpose and care.

🛠️ Treatment Plan:

-Removed entire floor tile system down to subfloor, installed new plywood subfloor with Hardie backer board
-Removed wall tiles and tub surround tile, re-skimming and priming all walls for smooth finish
-Installed new 1’x1’ patterned tile flooring (customer provided) with precision and balance
-Installed white subway tile at the tub surround, approx. 60 sq. ft., with clean grout lines and smart spacing
-Installed custom wainscoting on approx. 120 sq. ft. of wall for a timeless accent
-Painted walls and wainscoting in a bright white, enhancing natural light
-Installed customer-supplied sink vanity and new satin nickel lighting above
-Added ceiling fan/light combo for fresh airflow and better illumination
-Installed towel rack, toilet paper holder, picture hook, and polished metal outlet covers
-Installed 6’ threshold saddle between kitchen and living room
-Installed two hook-handle doorknobs and new hinge sets
-Framed in wall cavity from former recessed mirror and installed surface-mounted replacement
-Repaired wall patch from plumbing with clean tape/mud blend
-Reinstalled toilet with new supply lines and wax ring
-📞 Coordinated with Lambert Plumbing to reroute and repair all plumbing work

💡 Prognosis:

The client got exactly what she was looking for — a clean, classic, light-filled bathroom that reflects her personal style and opens up the energy of her home. She was ecstatic to see her ideas fully realized with craftsmanship that tied it all together. This is no longer a tired bathroom — it’s a refreshed retreat.
